TOLEDO, Ohio - The Toledo women's soccer team welcomes MAC opponent Akron to Paul Hotmer Field for a 1 p.m. match on Sunday, Sept. 29.
"We hope to bounce back against a good Akron team on Sunday," said head coach
TJ Buchholz. "We had good offensive chances on Friday and didn't capitalize. We have to be better around goal Sunday to beat a good defensive team like Akron."
Following Sunday's match, the Toledo will travel south to play Ohio and Kent State on Friday, Oct. 4Â and Sunday, Oct. 6, respectively.

- Junior Madison Perrin earned her 21st career win against Detroit Mercy, she is now one win away from tying for the third-most in program history. Perrin was also credited with the shutout victory, tying for fourth in program history for career shutouts (10.0). Perrin is also fourth in career saves, recording 201 through 45 games.
- Junior Sophia Lewis is just four assists away from the fifth-most career assists in program history.
- Senior Sheridan Bufe is having a stellar season for the Rockets. Bufe recorded her first career goal in the Rockets' 4-3 win over Oakland.
- Akron is coming off of a 1-0 loss to Bowling Green. Charley Kale led the way for the Zips with two shots, putting one on frame.
