Football to Host "ONE Rocket Against Cancer" Event

TOLEDO, Ohio – The University of Toledo football team is hosting a "ONE Rocket Against Cancer" event on Saturday, Sept. 28 at noon, when the Rockets take on BYU at the Glass Bowl. The event is meant to build awareness and support for the fight against cancer.

At halftime, UTMC doctors and cancer survivors will form a ribbon at midfield during the ONE Rocket Against Cancer salute while the Toledo marching band performs Rachel Platten's hit "Fight Song."

Fans are encouraged to pick up and fill out their ONE Rockets signs for the halftime ONE Rocket Against Cancer salute. Fans will be asked to stand during the halftime salute to hold up their signs.

The Rockets are offering FREE admission to the first 200 cancer survivors (and one guest) who would like to take part in the halftime ribbon at midfield for the ONE Rocket Against Cancer salute. To reserve your spot and claim your free tickets, call 419.530.GOLD (4653), stop by the Rocket Ticket Office in Savage Arena or visit utrockets.com/FBtix and use the promo code ONEROCKET.
Additional tickets are available for cancer survivor family and friends at a discounted price with the promo code ONEROCKET. A portion of every ticket sale will be donated to the Eleanor N Dana Cancer Center.
