Toledo, Ohio - Twelve Toledo women's swimming and diving student-athletes were named to the Mid-American Conference's Academic All-MAC team, the league announced on Friday. Nine of the Rockets' honorees are receiving the honor for the first time in their careers.
Â
"I'm really proud of our swimmers and divers for their academic achievements," Persson said. "They work so hard in the pool and in the classroom, so it's nice that they re recognized for all of their hard work. We put a lot of emphasis on being a true student-athlete, and this is proof of that."Â
Jessica Avery,
Bailey Cahill,
Lisa Eriksson,
Corinne Harris,
Jordyn Polderman,
Alida Ramden,
Emma Sampson,
