PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. – Sophomore
David Amm fired a career-best two-under par 69 and is tied for ninth place following Monday's opening round of the Saint Mary's Invitational. Amm's play has the Toledo men's golf team tied for 13
th place and just seven strokes out of sixth place in a tightly-contested leaderboard.
No. 20 Colorado State is setting the pace with a remarkable 17-under par 267 to lead the 16-team field that includes four Top 20 programs. The Rams' Davis Bryant leads all individuals at seven-under 64 with teammate Oscar Teiffel and Arizona's Brad Reeves a shot behind.
