TOLEDO, Ohio - The University of Toledo men's tennis team is planning on participating in Friday's Relay for Life UToledo event held at the UToledo Recreation Center from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. 

"Freshman Luis Kleinschnitz lost his mom to cancer just a couple weeks before he came to campus this fall," said head coach Al Wermer. "Him fulfilling his dream of pursuing college tennis inspired me to align our program with this cause, beginning with this Friday night Relay event. All of our guys will be involved and supporting Luis. We've all had friends or family who have been affected."

The Rockets also plan to continue contributing to the American Cancer Society with promotions at select matches throughout the season.
