Junior Riley Kwiatkowski named Runner of the Week

Junior Riley Kwiatkowski posted a personal-best time of 18:34.0 at the EMU Fall Classic last Friday.

TOLEDO, Ohio - Junior Riley Kwiatkowski was named Mid-American Conference Women's Runner of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday.

Kwiatkowski set pace for the Rockets at the EMU Fall Classic on Friday, posting a personal-best time of 18:34.0 to place 19th overall. This marks the second year the Greensburg, Pa. native has garnered the season's final MAC Runner of the Week accolades, having earned the honor for her performance at the 2018 EMU Fall Classic last season.

The men's and women's cross country teams will hit the course again on Saturday at the MAC Championships in DeKalb, Ill. The men's 8K is set for 11:00 a.m. (CT) with the women's 6K to follow at 12:00 p.m. (CT).
