TOLEDO, Ohio - The University of Toledo women's tennis team will head to East Lansing, Mich. for the ITA Midwest Regional, hosted by Michigan State. Competition will run from Oct. 17-22 and will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday at the MSU Indoor Tennis Facility.

Last Time Out
The Rockets hosted the Rocket Invitational last weekend. In singles action, sophomore Eileen Carney went 2-1 on the weekend, putting her in a three-way tie for the No. 2 flight title with Oakland's Darya Maltseva and Duquesne's Natasha Novak. Junior Patricia Panta also went 2-1 in singles, tying with Duquesne's Margot Pessy for the No. 4 flight title. Panta, paired with freshman Laura Morera, went undefeated in doubles on the No. 3 court, earning the No. 3 doubles flight title.

Last Time at the ITA Midwest Regionals
Dee Dee Leenabanchong fought her way to the main draw of the ITA Midwest Regionals last season, posting wins against DePaul's Marija Jovicic, no. 1 seeded Michigan's Lera Patiuk, and Detroit Mercy's Jasmine Apawti. In the main draw, Leenabanchong fell early to Wisconsin's Ava Markham after three grewling sets (2-6, 7-5, 6-2).
