Toledo, OH – Toledo senior punter Nick Ellis (Pickerington, OH) was named the Mid-American Conference West Division Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance in Toledo's 42-35 victory over Bowling Green on Oct. 15

Ellis booted a career-long 69-yard punt in the first quarter vs. the Falcons. For the game, he averaged 46.5 yards per kick on six punts and landed two inside the Bowling Green 20-yard line.

The Rockets (5-1, 2-0 MAC) hosts Central Michigan (5-2, 2-1 MAC) at the Glass Bowl this Saturday at noon.
