Kareem Hunt Named MAC West Offensive Player of the Week

Toledo, OH - Sophomore running back Kareem Hunt (Willoughby, Ohio) was named MAC West Division Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in Toledo's 27-20 victory over Bowling Green on Nov. 19

Hunt rushed for a career-high 265 yards and two touchdowns on 30 carries . Hunt had a 91-yard touchdown run in the third quarter, the third-longest run in Toledo history.

Hunt now has 1,250 yards in eight games, the 10^th-most in Toledo history and the most ever by a sophomore. He ranks third in the nation in rushing yards per game (157.5) and yards per attempt (8.34). Hunt has now hit the century mark in nine-consecutive games dating back to last season.
