Junior Eric Page was named the national wide receiver of the week by the College Football Performance Awards for his performance in Toledo's 63-60 loss to Northern Illinois on Nov. 1.
Page caught five touchdown passes vs. NIU, tying the MAC record set by Marshall's Randy Moss vs. Ball State in 1997. Page moved into sole possession of second place in school history with 24 career TD catches.
Overall, Page caught nine passes for 149 yards vs. NIU.
Page also set the school record for TD receptions, which five players held with three. Page tied the school record for overall TDs with four other Rockets, the most recent being RB Chester Taylor versus Central Michigan on Sept. 22, 2001.
Page also became only the second player in UT annals to surpass 3,000 yards receiving (3,078 yards). The all-time leader is current Arizona Cardinal Stephen Williams, with 3,102 from 2006-09.
