* The Rockets trailed midway through the fourth quarter, 35-24, before scoring 12 points to record the come-from-behind victory. The 11-point deficit the Rockets overcame is the fourth-largest ever under sixth-year Head Coach Tom Amstutz.
* Sophomore SS Barry Church led the Rockets with a career-high 19 tackles, including three tackles-for-loss. Church's 19 stops are the most by a Rocket since Tom Ward had 22 stops vs.
* Senior RB Jalen Parmele returned a kickoff 82 yards for a touchdown in the fourth quarter. It marked the first time the Rockets have returned a kickoff for a score since Richard Davis raced 94 yards against
* Parmele finished the games with 16 carries for a team-high 74 yards and one touchdown.
* Senior Greg Hay, who has started the last 11 games at linebacker dating back to last season, was moved to rover back. Hay finished with a career-high 14 tackles and recovered a botched punt late in the fourth quarter for the eventual-game winning touchdown. Hay's previous career-high was 13 tackles against
* Sophomore QB Aaron Opelt finished 17-of-23 for 189 yards and one touchdown each running and throwing, including a 42-yard TD strike to Stephen Williams in the third quarter. Opelt started off game red-hot and completed his initial seven passes.
* Freshman CB Myshan Pettis recorded his first career interception in the opening quarter and finished with a career-best seven tackles.
* Sophomore WR Stephen Williams caught a team-high six passes for 113 yards, including a 42-yard TD catch in the third quarter. Williams was held without a catch last week against
* Sophomore PK Alex Steigerwald booted a 35-yard field goal in the third quarter. Steigerwald is a perfect 3-for-3 on field-goal attempts this season and 10-of-11 in his career.
* Sophomore CB Walter Atkins had a career-high 14 tackles, including two tackles-for-loss and one sack. Atkins' previous best performance was nine stops at
* Sophomore LB Beau Brudzinski and redshirt freshman DE Joe Underwood made their first collegiate starts. Brudzinski had seven tackles, while Underwood was credited with two stops, respectively.
