* With tonight's victory, the Rockets improve to 38-4 (.905) in their last 42 games in the Glass Bowl, dating back to the middle of the 1999 season. Over the past three seasons, UT is 19-3 (.864) in the Glass Bowl, the ninth-best mark in Division I-A.
* Tonight's win marked the 50th victory as head coach of the Rockets for Tom Amstutz. He is 50-25 (.667) in six years at Toledo.
* The Rockets have won three in a row, four of five, and nine of the last 12 in the series. UT has also won six in a row in the series in the Glass Bowl. BGSU's last win in the Glass Bowl came in 1994.
* Sophomore QB Clint Cochran made his fourth start of the season and first since the Kansas game on Sept. 15. Cochran finished the game 5-of-6 for 63 yards.
* Freshman QB Aaron Opelt completed 4-for-6 passes and 33 yards and also carried the ball 14 times for a season-best 76 yards, including a pair of one-run TD runs.
* Senior WR Steve Odom caught one pass tonight and finished his career with at least one reception in 49 straight games, every game of his career and the longest current streak in the nation. Odoms ends his Rocket career second in school history in receptions (216) and reception yardage (2,631) and third in TD receptions (19).
* Junior RB Jalen Parmele carried the ball a game-high 20 times for 124 yards, including his team-best eighth TD run of the season from seven-yards out in the first quarter. Parmele ends the season with 1,131 yards on 207 carries (5.5 ypc). He gained over 100 yards the final four games of the season and five times this season. His 1,131 yards rushing are the fifth-most yards rushing in a single season by a junior in school history.
* Sophomore WR Nick Moore led the Rockets with two catches for 42 yards, including a season-best 29-yard reception in the first quarter.
* The Rockets opened the second quarter with a 16-play drive, which resulted in a one-yard TD run by Aaron Opelt, his third of the season. The 16-play drive was UT's second longest play drive of the season. Their longest drive was 17 plays against Pittsburgh at the end of the first half, which resulted in a 35-yard field goal by Alex Steigerwald.
* Freshman SS Barry Church picked off his team-best fourth pass of the season in the second quarter and returned it 31 yards for his second TD return. Church also returned an interception 84 yards against Kansas on Sept. 15. He is tied for first in school history with Curtis Johnson (1968) and Keon Jackson (2002) for the most interception returns for a score in a single season. He is also tied for third in school history with four other Rockets for the most interception returns for a score in a career. The school record is four interception returns for scores held by Keon Jackson (2002-05).
* Junior P Brett Kern averaged 42.8 yards per punt on four attempts, including two which were downed inside the 20-yard line.
* Freshman PK Alex Steigerwald converted a 28-yard field goal in the fourth quarter and finished his rookie campaign 7-of-8 on field-goal attempts this season.
* Junior FS Tyrrell Herbert led the Rockets with a career-high 12 tackles and one pass break-up. Herbert's previous best was nine tackles on three occasions.
* Freshman CB Desmond Marrow made his first start of the season, in place of Walter Atkins. Marrow finished with six tackles.
* The Rockets tallied 21 points in the first half, which ties for the most points scored in a single half this season. UT also registered 21 points in the opening half against Akron on Oct. 28.
* Tonight's game marked the final contest for 17 seniors: Hassan Adebesin, Aaron Albritton, Mike Alston, Jesse Anderson, J.P.
