* Toledo has now won 15 straight home games, and its last three home openers.
* Toledo has outscored its opponents 133-23 in its last three home openers: 51-0 vs. Weber State in 2000, 38-7 vs. Minnesota in 2001 and 44-16 vs. Cal Poly in 2002.
* Toledo is now 21-3 over the last three seasons.
* Senior William Bratton's 105 yards was the first 100-yard game of his career, spanning 22 games and four seasons. Bratton's previous best was 97 yards vs. Central Michigan in 1999. It also was Bratton's first start of his career.
* Bratton's touchdown run was his first since the final game of the 2000 season, a 51-17 win over Bowling Green on Nov. 22, 2000.
* Carl Ford cracked the 1,000-yard mark for career receiving yards. Ford now has 1,011 yards (904 going in) in four seasons at UT. Ford totalled 107 yards in the air vs. Cal Poly, his third 100-yard game. His career high is 117 yards vs. Ohio in 2001.
* Two freshman running backs scored touchdowns for Toledo, Astin Martin and Quinton Broussard.
