- Toledo clinched its ninth consecutive winning season with the WMU win.

- Toledo has now defeated WMU 12 of their last 14 meetings.

- Sophomore tight end Andrew Clarke caught his fifth TD pass of the year, all in the last five games.

- Donta` Greene extended his consecutive reception streak to 29 straight games. Greene caught eight passes and now has 168 career catches, second-place on UT's all-time list. He needs 8 catches to pass Mel Long, Jr. (175 catches from 1997-2000).

- Quarterback Brian Jones was 25-of-35 for 207 yards and two touchdowns and no interceptions. He ran for a career-high 94 yards and another score. He also had a career-best 52 yard run. He also ran for a key two-point conversion to make the score 35-21 with 9:44 to play. It was the ninth time in 10 games that Jones completed more than 65 percent of his passes in a game. He leads the NCAA in pass completion (70.9%)
