Thomas N. Bloomer/Root Outdoor Advertising Athletic Scholarship Fund
Established in 1998 by various donors, including Root Outdoor Advertising, in memory of Thomas Bloomer (A/S '57), the company's senior vice president for marketing. Mr. Bloomer, a former UT athlete and thespian, was a member of the UT Alumni Association Board of Trustees. Income from this fund supports scholarships for student athletes majoring in management or marketing in the College of Business Administration.
