Toledo, Ohio - The Toledo women's track and field team landed a conference-high 19 student-athletes on the Academic All-MAC team, the league office announced today.
Â
"This is a great recognition for our student-athletes," head coach
Linh Nguyen said. "Being a full-time student and a division-one athlete is difficult and time consuming. For these women to succeed at the level they do in the classroom and on the track is a testament to their hard work and dedication. It also says a lot about UT and the athletic department that we provide the support and opportunities needed to achieve their goals as a student, while also providing a top-notch athletic experience. I couldn't be more proud of them and their success."
