Toledo, Ohio - The Toledo women's track and field team will host the 12th annual Toledo Collegiate Invitational this week. Competition runs May 3-4 at the UT Outdoor Track and Field Facility.

The Rockets are coming off a strong outing in the Hillsdale "GINA" Relays hosted by Hillsdale College. Toledo walked away with victories in the discus and 400m dash events thanks to junior Anna Bellman and graduate student Danda da Silva, respectively. Bellman threw for 46.91m on day three of competition. Da Silva finished in 55.20, setting a new personal-record and hitting the MAC automatic qualifying mark in the process. UT recorded 16 personal-bests and four MAC auto times while up north.

Last season's invitational saw Toledo win three events and take nine top-five spots. Sophomore Christina Johnson won the 200m in 24.66; sophomore Deja Martin took the triple jump (11.60 m), and Bellman won in the javelin after tossing for 37.00m.

Parking:
Parking for both days of the Toledo Invitational is available in lots 3, 4, 5, 6 and 10 for free. Toledo parking services will not be ticketing non-registered vehicles in these lots, but will still be checking reserved, meter and handicap parking areas.

Admission:
Thursday admission is free. The following prices are for Friday only
Adults: $5
Kids: Ages 2-18, $3. Two years and younger are free
