Amanda Bakley Named MAC Female Scholar-Athlete of the Week

Toledo, Ohio - Sophomore Amanda Bakley earned Female Scholar-Athlete of the Week for April 23-30, the Mid-American Conference office announced today. The exercise science major holds a 3.35 GPA.Â

Bakley posted a MAC automatic qualifying time in the 3,000m steeplechase at this weekend's Hillsdale GINA Relays, finishing fourth with a time of 10:56.92. Bakley's best finish this season in the 3,000m was at the Jesse Owens Track Classic where she crossed the line in 10:53.15.

The Rockets return to action on Thursday when UT hosts the 12th annual Toledo Collegiate Invitational at the UT outdoor Track and Field Facility.
