Fort Wayne, Ind. - Toledo finished in sixth place following Sunday's final round of the 2018 Mid-American Conference Championships at the par-72, 7,331-yard Sycamore Hills Golf Club in Fort Wayne, Ind.
Kent State won the championship with a team score of 1,196. Ball State was right behind at 1,199. Toledo's total of 1,241 was just two strokes behind Northern Illinois for fifth place and 13 strokes behind fourth-place Akron.
Senior
Stephen Watts paced the Rockets in a 10
th-place tie with a 15-over par 303 (74-75-77-77) for the tournament. Junior
Duncan McNeill (77-77-81-72) golfed even par on Sunday to finish with a 19-over par 307. McNeill was honored following the tournament with second-team All-MAC honors.

Colin Joseph came in at 27-over par 315 (79-75-80-81), while junior
Spencer Shoemaker finished with a 324 score (78-81-83-82).
