Toledo, Ohio - The University of Toledo and Student-Athlete Academic Support Services will host the "The Inaugural Student-Athlete Networking Night" on Monday, April 16 at 6:30 p.m. at Savage Arena. The event is an opportunity for UT student-athletes to interact and develop contacts with different employers, exchange information and increase the likelihood of gaining a postgraduate opportunity toward a future career.
 
The networking event will be held on Bob Nichols Court at Savage and will feature guest speaker Christine Brennan. Brennan is a sports columnist for USA Today and best-selling author, and has been a feature commentator on ABC News, CNN, PBS NewsHour and NPR. She has twice been named one of the country's top 10 sports columnists by the Associated Press Sports Editors, and has covered the last 17 Olympic Games (summer and winter).
