Jay-Ann Bravo-Harriott were each recognized on Tuesday with the release of the Mid-American Conference all-league squads. McIntyre and Boyd earned spots on the third team, while Bravo-Harriott was a honorable mention all-conference selection. In addition, Boyd was named to the All-MAC Defensive Team. The all-conference squads were determined from voting by the league's 12 head coaches, while the Specialty Awards were selected by head coaches, athletic communications directors and media members of the conference.
Bravo-Harriott collected all-conference recognition for the third-straight season, while Boyd and McIntyre received post-season laurels for the second and first time, respectively.
McIntyre contributed a team-best 16.1 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists, a team-high 1.4 blocks and 0.8 steals in 31.8 minutes per contest in 2017-18. She currently leads the MAC in overall field-goal percentage (.638, 204-of-320, sixth in the NCAA ), as well as ranking fifth in rejections, seventh in defensive caroms (5.7 rpg) and 10th in scoring and overall rebounding. McIntyre concludes the year tied for second in UT history in overall field-goal percentage and tied for sixth in blocked shots (42) in the single season record book. Earlier this year, the Toledo native shot 12-of-13 (92.3 percent) from the field against Western Michigan (Feb. 17), the second-highest mark in school history in a game (minimum 10 attempts).
One of three Rockets to start every this year, McIntyre scored in double figures on a squad-best 29 occasions, including a  career-high 30 points against MAC East Division champion Buffalo (Feb. 3).  In MAC contests, McIntyre tallied a team-high 17.2 ppg, 7.2 rpg, 2.4 apg, a squad-best 1.2 bpg and 0.8 spg in 33.0 mpg. She finished first in overall field-goal percentage (.624, 126-of-202) for the third-consecutive year, as well as standing eighth in scoring. She currently sits first in school history in career overall field-goal percentage (.626, 432-of-690) and fourth in rejections (99).

Boyd averaged 12.4 points, a squad-high 8.2 rebounds, a team-best 4.3 assists and a squad-high 2.4 steals in a team-best 33.1 minutes per contest in 2017-18. She currently stands sixth in the MAC in overall rebounding and defensive boards (6.0 rpg), eighth in minutes played (33.1 mpg), ninth in helpers and assist/turnover ratio (1.7, 132-79), tied for 12th in offensive caroms (2.2 rpg) and 22nd in scoring. The two-time third-team All-MAC honoree scored in double figures on 22 occasions during the year, the second-highest total on the team, including a season-high 24 points, a contest-best 15 boards and a game-high four steals at Ball State (Feb. 24). Earlier this season, Boyd pulled down a career-high 19 caroms vs. Ohio (Jan. 10), tied for fifth most in UT history and the most since Inma Zanoguera had 21 against Idaho in the first round of the Glass City Classic on Dec. 13, 2014.
In MAC contests, Boyd tallied 14.4 ppg, a squad-high 10.0 rpg, a team-high 4.3 apg and a squad-best 2.1 spg in a team-high 35.0 mpg. The 2017-18 team captain finished second in the league in defensive boards (7.6 rpg) and third in overall rebounding. Along with being named all-league, Boyd becomes the first Rocket to be selected to the All-MAC Defensive Team. The Hillside, Ill. native snagged a squad-best 73 steals, the fifth-highest total in the conference. Boyd registered at least four thefts on eight occasions this year, including a career-high seven vs. St. Francis (Pa.) (Nov. 10) in the first round of the Preseason WNIT.
A three-time All-MAC performer, Bravo-Harriott made at least four triples on a team-high eight occasions this year, including a program-tying best eight at Bowling Green (Jan. 27). Bravo-Harriott became only the fourth player in UT history with eight treys in a game and the first since 2002. She currently stands sixth in the MAC in three-point field-goals made (74, 2.4), tied for 10th in three-point field-goal percentage (.374, 74-of-198) and 21st in scoring (12.7 ppg). She concludes the year eighth in school history in three-point field-goal attempts (193) and 10th in three-point field-goals made (74) in a season.
The two-time team captain started every game in 2017-18, averaging 12.7 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 0.6 steals in 29.3 minutes. Bravo-Harriott scored in double figures on 20 occasions during the year, the third-highest total on the team, including a season-best 27 points against arch-rival BGSU. In MAC contests, Bravo-Harriott tallied 13.5 ppg, 3.4 rpg, 1.9 apg and 0.6 spg in 30.4 mpg. The three-time Academic All-District 5 Team honoree wraps up her collegiate career third in school history in three-point field-goals made (240) and three-point field-goal attempts (672), eighth in minutes played (3,525), 10th in three-point field-goal percentage (.357, 240-of-672) and 13th in scoring (1,426 pts.).
The Rockets will now have to wait until Monday evening, March 12, to find out if they have been picked to participate in the Postseason WNIT.
