CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Toledo track and field team placed a conference-best 18 student-athletes on the Academic All-MAC team, the league office announced today.

Amanda Bakley, Stephanie Barlow, Olivia Chinn, Danda Da Silva, Jordan Doore, Maddie Ferner, Sally Frank, Nautica HIll, Christina Johnson, Bridget Keenan, Yana Khabina, Roma Lucarelli, Janelle Noe, Madison Pierce, Stephanie Sherman, Petronela Simiuc, Tori Thompson and Athena Welsh were recognized for their outstanding work in the classroom and on the track and field. Khabina was also recognized for being one of 11 MAC student-athletes with a 4.0 grade point average.

The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
