Toledo, Ohio -Â The Toledo men's tennis team travels to Milwaukee, Wis. this weekend for matches against Marquette and Green Bay. The Rockets play Marquette on Friday, Feb. 17 at 11:00 a.m., followed by a 10:00 a.m. contest against Green Bay. Both matches will take place at Helfaer Tennis Stadium.
ÂThe Rockets  haven't played since a Feb. 3 road contest at Purdue. Head coach Al Wermer feels the challenging matches away from home will make his team stronger.
Â"We have a confident group and they're just trying to improve," Wermer said. "They know what we're working for and that playing such a powerful non-conference schedule makes us stronger. We'll keep grinding."
ÂLAST TIME THEY MET
Toledo's last meeting against Marquette was a 4-3 loss one year ago in Wisconsin. The Rockets took the doubles point but couldn't clench the win in singles play. Toledo lost against Green Bay  in similar fashion the next day when the Rockets swept the doubles matches but allowed the Phoenix to come back late in singles play.
ÂCOMING UP
The Rockets host Wayne State on Friday, Feb. 23 at 6 p.m. at the Shadow Valley Tennis Club before heading to Indiana for a 5 p.m. contest against Notre Dame on Sunday, Feb. 25.
