TOLEDO, Ohio - Toledo (12-5, 3-2 MAC) will host Mid-American Conference West Division rival Ball St. (14-2, 3-2 MAC) on Wednesday, Jan. 17 looking to continue its momentum from back-to-back home victories over Ohio, 75-57, and Northern Illinois, 63-60. Tip-off time is set for 7:00 p.m. in Savage Arena and can be seen on ESPN3.
The Rockets are a perfect 8-0 at the friendly confines of Savage Arena this year and are in the midst of a 14-game home winning streak, tied for the sixth-longest home unbeaten stretch in school history.Â
The 2017 MAC Champions outscored the Huskies, 6-2, over the final two-plus minutes of regulation on Saturday to give them a three-point home triumph.

Mikaela Boyd paced Toledo with 17 points against NIU, followed by junior
Kaayla McIntyre and senior
Jay-Ann Bravo-Harriott with 16 and 13, respectively.
Boyd added a game-high 13 boards to post her fourth double-double in the last five games and played a big part in UT winning the battle on the glass, 39-36. McIntyre helped the cause with seven caroms and junior
Sarah St-Fort had six, as Toledo outrebounded its opponent for the fifth time in the last six contests.Â
Toledo is fueled offensively by the trio of McIntyre, Bravo-Harriott and Boyd, who are averaging 15.0, 12.1 and 10.9 ppg, respectively. In MAC games, the aforementioned trio are contributing a whopping 71.2 percent (225 of 316) of UT's scoring.
Ball State enters tomorrow's match-up on the heels of an 84-80 setback against MAC East Division frontrunner Buffalo (13-3, 4-1 MAC) on Saturday to snap a  three-game winning streak. Destiny Washington led the Cardinals with 17 points against the Bulls, followed by Carmen Grande with 14 points and a game-high 11 helpers.
BSU, which is a perfect 6-0 away from home this season, features four players scoring at least 11.9 ppg and is led by MAC Player of the Year candidate Moriah Monaco's 16.9 ppg.
Tomorrow's MAC West Division match-up will pit UT's stingy defense against BSU's efficient offense. Ball State is currently third in the MAC in scoring offense (77.8 ppg), second in overall field-goal percentage (.438, 144-of-329) and seventh in three-point field-goal percentage (.342, 38-of-111) in league games, while Toledo is second in scoring defense (63.8 ppg), fourth in overall field-goal percentage defense (.395, 113-of-286) and third in three-point field-goal percentage defense (.280, 28-of-100).
UT and BSU will meet for the first of two match-ups during the regular season and 78th time overall. Toledo leads the all-time series, 53-24, but has lost six of the last seven meetings against its division foe.Â
A year ago, the Rockets and Cardinals split their two regular-season meetings with the away team emerging victorious both times. UT suffered a 51-45 setback in Savage Arena (Dec. 31), before claiming a 76-66 overtime victory in Worthen Arena to snap a six-game losing skid in the series (March 4).
Following tomorrow's contest, Toledo will travel to Buffalo on Saturday, Jan. 20. Game time versus the Bulls is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. in Alumni Arena.

A year ago, Toledo swept the regular-season series, claiming a 73-64 road victory (Jan. 11) and an 85-63 home triumph (Feb. 1).
