Jameson Vest was voted "Ironman of the Game" for his performance in the Rockets' 54-51 victory against Tulsa on September 16
th, presented by Iron Workers Union No. 55. Â
Vest booted the game-winning 33-yard field goal that pushed the Rockets' to victory as time expired left in the fourth quarter. The 33-yarder was Vest's longest field goal attempt thus far this season.
The Peachtree, Ga. native connected on 13-of-19 field goals attempts last season and 19-of-27 as a true freshman in 2015. Vest's longest field goal to date was a 49-yard kick against Ball State in the 2016 campaign.
In his career, Vest is 40-of-55 (.727) on field goal attempts and a sterling 124-of-127 (.976) on extra points.
