Matt Hansen celebrates his sixth home run for the Westhampton Aviators of the Hamton's League
Hansen, Calopietro Named to Summer League All-Star Teams

TOLEDO, Ohio - Senior infielder Matt Hansen and sophomore pitcher Austin Calopietro have both been named to the all-star game in their respective summer baseball leagues.
Hansen, an Erie, Pa. native, was selected to the Hampton's League's July 10 all-star game after a strong start to the season. Hansen is currently hitting .336 (39-for-116) and leads the entire league with 36 RBIs. In addition, the infielder has recorded six home runs, a pair of triples and 10 two-baggers. Hansen leads the Westhampton Aviators with 26 runs and nine stolen bases.
Calopietro, a local Maumee, Ohio product, will play in the Great Lakes League All-Star Game tonight (July 18) for the South Division. Calopietro has accumulated 28.2 innings in 10 appearances with a pair of starts on the mound for the Irish Hills Leprechauns. The right-hander boasts a 4.40 ERA with 34 strikeouts thus far this summer.
Hansen and the Aviators have recorded a 24-10 record and control first place in the league by 4.5 games. Calopietro and the Leprechauns started the season 10-13 before losing nine of their last 10 games.
