CLEVELAND, Ohio - Toledo women's tennis freshman Mimi Kendall-Woseley earned second-team All-Mid-American Conference honors, the league announced on Wednesday.
"Our conference is incredibly tough and that makes this award that much more impressive, especially as a freshman," said Head Coach Tracy Mauntler.
Kendall-Woseley finished her first season as a Rocket with an overall singles record of 14-7 (5-3 MAC) and a 7-11 (3-4 MAC) mark in doubles play. The freshman began the season playing at fourth singles and moved onto courts one and two for conference action. She posted a 3-2 record vs. league opponents at the top of the lineup and a 2-1 slate at No. 2 singles. Kendall-Woseley posted straight-set conference victories over Bowling Green's Marharita-Sophia Tavpash and Eastern Michigan's Ani Gogvadze.Â
