Nikola Arsic to Join Rockets Program in 2017

TOLEDO, OH – Head Coach Al Wermer announced today that Nikola Arsic (Brus, Serbia) will join the Toledo men's tennis program at the start of the 2017-18 academic year.

"We're very excited about Nikola joining us. He is an aggressive player and he's very coachable, motivated, and team-oriented," Wermer said. "He's going to be a great fit to our team and I'm confident that he'll have a great experience here."

Arsic competed in the 2014, 2015 and 2016 Serbian National Team Championship finals with his tennis club, Taz-His. The Brus, Serbia native was an Under-18 National Championship finalist in the winter of 2015 and a semi-finalist in the summer of 2016. Additionally, Arsic competed in the Under-16 European Tennis Association Championships where he finished as a quarterfinalist.
