Silver Lake, Ohio – Toledo stands in a sixth-place tie following Saturday's second round of the 2017 Mid-American Conference Women's Golf Championships at the par-72, 6,177-yard Silver Lake Country Club. The Rockets improved their team score from the opening round by one stroke with a 24-over par 312 and were paced by five-over par 77s from sophomores Pimchanok Kawil and Pinyada Kuvanun.

Kuvanun, who is tied for 14^th place in the individual standings at 10-over par, wasn't able to collect any birdies during her round that included three bogeys and a double-bogey on her final hole. A trio of Rockets – Kawil (80-77), sophomore Natcha Daengpiem (77-80) and freshman Saranlak Tumfong (79-78) – is tied for 23^rd place at 13-over par 157.

Sophomore Hannah Kochendoerfer rounds out the Rocket lineup in a 44^th-place tie at 22-over par 166 (86-80).

No. 15 Kent State holds a 19-stroke advantage over Northern Illinois and Ohio after posting an 11-over par 587 through the first 36 holes. Four Golden Flashes sit atop the individual leaderboard with sophomore Michaela Finn leading the way at one-under par 143 (73-70) .

The Rockets will begin the final round tomorrow on the No. 10 tees at 8:40 a.m.
