TOLEDO, Ohio - The Rockets ride a four-game winning streak into a Mid-American Conference weekend series with Kent State starting on Friday, April 20 at Schoonover Stadium. The series opener will be played at 6:00 p.m., Saturday's contest starts at 4:00 p.m. and Sunday's series finale begins at 1:00 p.m.

Toledo (14-23, 7-5 MAC) earned a three-game sweep over Buffalo in its last MAC series to break the .500 mark in conference play. The Rockets have won their last three conference series and currently sit in third place in the MAC West Division.

Kent State (21-12, 7-2 MAC) sits atop the MAC East standings and has won each of its three conference series, including a three-game sweep over Ball State.Â
Golden Flashes' outfielder Luke Burch leads the conference in hits with 52 and batting average at .403. Sunday starter Joey Murray tops the MAC in earned run average with a 2.52 mark.
UT has won five games but lost eight times in this series in the last five years, including a 3-2 defeat at the hands of KSU in the 2016 MAC Tournament.
The Rockets enter their MAC bye week and will travel to No. 2 Louisville for their weekend series.Â
