Toledo Hosts Buffalo in First Home League Match

TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo (9-10, 0-2 MAC) will welcome Buffalo (7-5, 2-0 MAC) to the Glass City on Sunday, April 7 for its first home conference match of the season. UT's contest against the Bulls is slated to begin at 2:00 p.m.
Sunday's match will either be held at the UT Varsity Tennis Courts or at Shadow Valley Tennis Club, depending on the weather. Follow @ToledoMTennis on twitter for location updates.
Fans will get to enjoy free City Barbeque and a prize raffle at the match thanks to the official match sponsor, Jeff Traudt at State Farm Insurance.
"Every MAC dual match is a new contest, but at same time we can't over-emphasize any single one," said head coach Al Wermer. "The conference standings will likely be bunched together again in the end with most teams having three to five wins. It will be fantastic for our home fans to see us in a big MAC battle."
UT is coming off a tough 6-1 loss to MAC rival Western Michigan last Sunday. Sophomore Luka Vitosevic logged Toledo's only victory in the singles competition. Vitosevic battled back from a 6-3 loss in the opening frame to record straight-set wins, 7-6 (7-5), 10-7, to clinch the victory.
