Toledo Dominates Butler, 6-1

TOLEDO, OH – Toledo (5-5) bested Butler (3-9), 6-1, on Friday at the Shadow Valley Tennis Club in its last match before the team heads to Florida for its spring trip.
"It's great to get such a decisive win before we head to Florida for some outdoor matches," said head coach Tracy Maunter. "I saw huge strides today from Deedee as she dominated her opponent from start to finish."
Toledo secured the doubles point with decisive wins at both first and third doubles. Sidnay Huck and Dee Dee Leenabanchong downed Butler, 6-0, at the top of the lineup, while Rani Goodland and Megan Miller claimed a 6-2 victory at the No. 3 spot.
The Rockets then claimed straight-set victories from No. 2 through No. 6 singles.
UT will venture to Fort Lauderdale, FL to match up against Nova Southeastern on March 6 before heading to Boca Raton to battle Florida Atlantic on March 9.
