Three Rocket Boys’ Basketball Camps on Tap This Summer

Toledo, Ohio - The University of Toledo will be holding three boys' basketball camps this summer. A day camp will be held for boys entering first- through eighth-grades on June 12-15 with a pair of Shooting and Offense Improvement camps being held on June 26-29 and August 1-3 for boys in third- through eighth-grades.
The purpose of the camps are to instruct young players in the fundamentals of the game and help instill in them a love and appreciation for basketball and good sportsmanship. Every participant can count on an exciting and rewarding week of playing hard, playing together, having fun and improving his basketball skills. Campers will have the opportunity to play in Savage Arena as well as tour the entire facility. Each camper will also receive a personal evaluation and a basketball handbook.
The fee for the day camp is $200.00 with the cost being $225.00 for the first shooting camp and $170.00 for the second shooting camp. A $20.00 discount will be provided for those who: a) Pay your fee in full by May 1; b) Attend more than one camp; c) Have two or more family members attend a camp; or d) Sign up for camp with a group of five or more kids. The biggest discount you can receive is $60.00 per camp. Full-time employees of the University of Toledo will also receive a $20.00 discount for their sons and can also receive an additional $40.00 discount by fulfilling two of the previous four criteria.
