Rocket Football Moves Final Spring Practice to Glass Bowl

TOLEDO, OH - Thanks to a forecast of mild weather this weekend, the University of Toledo football team is moving its final practice of the spring to the Glass Bowl this Saturday. The practice will begin at 11:00 a.m. and is expected to last somewhere between 90 minutes and two hours.
Rocket fans are invited to come and watch the practice, parts of which will feature an intrasquad scrimmage. There is no charge to attend.
Fans who plan to attend practice should be aware that due to the concert at Savage Arena on Saturday, parking in lots near the Glass Bowl will be $10. Free parking is available in lots farther from Savage and the Glass Bowl. The closest free lot would be Parking Area 25 (Rocket Hall).
The Rockets open the 2017 season with a home game on Aug. 31 vs. Elon. Season tickets are available at the UT Athletic Ticket Office, online or by calling 419-530-GOLD (4653).
