TOLEDO, OH – Toledo (9-6) will travel to Lincoln, NE this weekend for a pair of matches against Nebraska (8-2) and Wichita State (7-6). UT's match vs. the Huskers is slated to begin on Friday at 4:00 p.m. CT. The Rockets will take on the Shockers on Sunday at 9:00 a.m. CT. Both matches will be held at Nebraska's Sid and Hazel Dillon Tennis Center.
"None of us have ever been to Nebraska and I know they have a great facility, so this will be a fun weekend for us," said head coach Al Wermer. "I think the guys are excited for two great challenges before conference play starts."
UT is coming off a hard-fought 4-3 victory over Boise State last Thursday. Toledo bounced back from a 3-1 deficit after Boise State claimed three-straight singles victories. Serjen Olmedo, Reid Teatsorth and Thawin Suksathaporn secured the last three matches to close out the Rocket's victory over BSU.
