Toledo, OH – The University of Toledo's men's basketball game against Eastern Michigan on Feb. 7 will feature a special in-game ceremony showcasing the work that Great Lakes Collaborative for Autism (GLCA) is doing in Northwest Ohio. The event is sponsored by Spartan Chemical.

Facts about Great Lakes Collaborative for Autism:
- Since 2006, GLCA has supported 20 different organizations in Northwest Ohio with over $1.2 million in direct funding based solely on GLCA fundraising.
- GLCA has provided over $150,000 in scholarship money to families to help offset out of pocket cost for treatment and programs.
-Â GLCA has assisted in the creation and development of 8 new programs in Northwest Ohio including early intervention programs, peer mentoring program, and transition to employment program.
- GLCA facilitated the initiation and supports ongoing operation of the Toledo Regional Autism Network (TRAN), a network which promotes the collaboration and communication of service providers and educators across Northwest Ohio serving those with autism.
