Rockets Head to Detroit Mercy for Mid-Week Match

DETROIT, MI – The Toledo men's tennis team will travel to Detroit, MI on Wednesday, Feb. 22 for a Noon match against Detroit Mercy. The Rockets will enter the mid-week matchup with an overall record of 7-5, while the Titans enter with a record of 3-5.
UT will be looking to notch its sixth-straight victory in the match against UDM.
"We have some momentum going for us, but our Detroit Mercy matches have been very close recently," said head coach Al Wermer. "I'm sure Wednesday will be another back-and-forth affair."
Toledo is coming off an impressive 7-0 win over Illinois State last Sunday. The team was able to record a victory from every Rocket up and down its lineup, and is looking to do the same for Wednesday.
UT will stay on the road and head to Louisville, KY on Saturday, Feb. 25 for a 10:00 a.m. match vs. Louisville.
