PORT ST. LUCIE, FL – Toledo sits in first place following Friday's first two rounds of the Ball State Sunshine Invitational. The Rockets carded a 54-over par 630 (316-314) and hold a six-shot lead over second-place Southern Illinois (317-319=636).
Junior
Napaphan Phongpaiboon is leading the Rockets at 13-over par 157 and is tied for fourth place in the individual standings. Sophomore
Pinyada Kuvanun is two strokes behind Phongpaiboon at 13-over par 157 (78-79) and tied for ninth place. Sophomore
Natcha Daengpiem, who carded the Rockets' best round of the day with a one-over par 73 in the second round, is another shot back and tied for 11
th place at 16-over par 160 (87-73).
Rounding out the Rocket lineup are sophomore
Pimchanok Kawil at 18-over par 162 (T-15
th/77-85) and freshman
Saranlak Tumfong at 20-over par 164 (T-20
th/79-85).
