TOLEDO, Ohio – A Teddy Bear Toss sponsored by Kistler Ford will be held at halftime for both the men's and women's basketball contests on Saturday, Dec. 9. The Rocket women will host Cleveland State at 2:00 p.m. in Savage Arena, while the UT men entertain Marshall at 7:00 p.m.

     Fans are encouraged to bring a new teddy bear to the game to be tossed onto the court at halftime to benefit area children during the holiday season.

     In addition, Santa Claus will be on the West Concourse for children to visit when doors open an hour before each game until the end of halftime.

     A holiday sweater contest will also be held at the women's contest with fans having the opportunity to win a Rocket Prize Pack for the best sweater.

     A pair of student promotions will also take place at the women's and men's games. Free pizza will be available at the women's contest for UT Students who are taking a break from studying for final exams. Free Toledo Basketball holiday t-shirts will be given to the first 500 students at the men's game.
