Logan Woodside was voted "Ironman of the Game" for his performance in the Rockets' 27-17 victory against Northern Illinois on Nov. 2, presented by Iron Workers Union No. 55. Â
Woodside threw for 361 yards on 23-of-31 passing and rushed seven times for 17 yards in the win.Â
On a 31-yard completion to senior wide receiver
Darryl Richards in the third quarter, Woodside became Toledo's all-time leading passer. He broke former Rocket Bruce Gradkowski's record of 9,225 yards which stood for more than a decade.
Woodside, a Frankfort, Ky. native, currently has 9,288 career passing yards and 84 scores through the air. His next touchdown toss will tie Gradkowski's school-record of 85 career TD passes.
