Terry Swanson Named MAC West Offensive Player of the Week

Toledo, Ohio – Toledo senior running back Terry Swanson (Aliquippa, Pa.) was named MAC West Division Offense Player of the Week for his performance in the Rockets' 66-37 victory over Bowling Green on Nov. 15.

Swanson rushed for a career-high 192 yards on 23 attempts vs. the Falcons. He averaged 8.3 yards per carry and had nine rushes of at least 10 yards, with a long run of 25 yards. It was the 14th 100-yard rushing game of his career. Swanson now has 3,283 rushing yards for his career, passing six-year NFL veteran Jalen Parmele for sixth place on Toledo's all-time rushing list.

Toledo (9-2, 6-1 MAC) hosts Western Michigan (6-5, 4-3 MAC) on Friday (11:30 a.m./ESPNU). A victory by the Rockets puts them into the MAC Championship Game at Detroit's Ford Field on Saturday, Dec. 2.
