CARMEL, Ind. – Toledo moved up one spot in the final standings at the Crooked Stick Invitational on Tuesday to finish ninth in the 12-team field. The Rockets carded an 11-over par 299 today to conclude the tournament at 28-over par 892 (305-288-299) at the par-72, 7,290-yard Crooked Stick Golf Club.

Colin Joseph carded UT's best round of the day with a one-over par 73 in windy conditions that featured gusts up to 15-20 mph.

Stephen Watts was the Rockets' top overall finisher by tying for 23
rd place at five-over par 221 (76-70-75). Junior Duncan
McNeill (74-73-76) and sophomore
Thomas Thurloway (74-74-75) were one stroke behind Watts and tied for 28
th place at seven-over par 223 (74-73-76), while Joseph tied for 44
th place at 11-over par 227 (83-71-73).Â
Rounding out the Rocket lineup was freshman
Dylan Van Fossen at 24-over par 240 (81-76-83).
Kentucky captured the tournament title with an even-par score of 864 (289-285-290). The Wildcats' Copper Musselman earning medalist honors at six-under par 210 (70-70-70).
The Rockets are now idle until heading to the West Coast for their final tournament of the fall, the Saint Mary's Invitational on Nov. 6-8 in Pebble Beach, Calif.
