Toledo, OH – The University of Toledo Marching Band will be rolling through downtown Toledo Friday night to drum up spirit for the Rockets' home-opening football game vs. Maine at the Glass on Saturday at 7:00 p.m.
  
The band will be playing at five downtown restaurants and pubs, beginning with Pizza Papalis at 9:00 p.m., followed by Veritas, Ye Olde Durty Bird, Cock 'n' Bull and The Blarney.

"We did these pop-ups last year and they were very successful," said Cindy Kerr, executive director of Downtown Toledo Improvement District.  "Everyone grabs their phones to record and share the unexpected excitement that the band and their enthusiasm brings. Downtown Toledo is proud of our local team."
