Ruenreong Cards Three-Over 74 on Day Two of LPGA Marathon Classic

SYLVANIA, OH – Former Rocket Sathika Ruenreong improved by two strokes from the first to second round on Friday at the LPGA Marathon Classic but that wasn't enough to make the cut in her first appearance in a professional tournament.
Ruenreong shot a three-over par 74 today at the par-71, 6,506-yard Highland Meadows Golf Club after carding a five-over par 76 yesterday.
The Kanchanaburi, Thailand native was unable to sink any birdies and had several near misses that resulted par putts that she tapped in. She finished the day with 15 pars and three bogeys after tallying 11 pars, six bogeys and one birdie in her opening round.
Ruenreong will next participate in the 2016 United States Women's Amateur Open on August 1-7 at Rolling Green Golf Club in Springfield, PA.
