TOLEDO, OH – A celebration for former Rocket Sathika Ruenreong's LPGA debut at the Marathon Classic this week will be held on Wednesday, July 13 at 5:30 p.m. in Savage Arena. A brief program will be a part of the event that is taking place in the West concourse of the building.

     Cake and refreshments will be provided for attendees, in addition to 250 t-shirts for fans to wear while watching Ruenreong during the tournament. The t-shirts given out can be worn during the tournament to support Ruenreong. In addition, every time Ruenreong registers a birdie Rockets fans are urged to yell "Holey Toledo!"

     Attendees for the celebration should be aware that the David Leigh Root Bridge, located on Stadium Drive behind the Snyder Memorial Building, is closed for construction. Please use the Douglas Road entrance to Savage Arena to park in Lot 3, 4 or 5.

     The Marathon Classic will be held on Thursday-Sunday, July 14-17 at Highland Meadows. Tee times for the first and second rounds have yet to be announced.
