Steven Calhoun (2-7, 4.91) to toe the rubber for the Rockets on Friday. Senior LHP
Ross Achter (4-4, 3.59) will pitch on Saturday, and junior RHP
Sam Shutes should wrap up the series on Sunday. RHP Sean Renzi (3-4, 5.58), LHP Nick Deeg (1-6, 5.60) and RHP Pat Leatherman (0-3, 4.87) should throw for the Chippewas.

The Rockets are coming off two close contests with Dayton and Michigan. UT fell to UD, 12-10, and to UM, 2-1. Last weekend, Toledo picked up one victory over intrastate foe Wright State. The Midnight Blue & Gold scored a season-high nine runs in the 9-3 victory. Senior SS
Deion Tansel picked up his second three-RBI game of the season and swiped two bags in a 1-for-3 day and sophomore 3B/DH
Brad Boss ripped a two-run home run, his second of the season, and also scored three runs. Senior RHP
Ross Achter picked up his fourth victory of the season after throwing 6.2 innings and scattering three hits.

Tansel is currently leading the way from the plate, hitting .299 (44-for-147) with seven doubles, two home runs and 17 RBI. On the mound, Achter currently has a 3.59 ERA over 52.2 IP and has fanned 33 batters this season.

CMU played one midweek contest and fell to Notre Dame, 7-6. Last weekend, Central Michigan took one-of-three from Ball State.
