TOLEDO, OH — The University of Toledo women's golf program is traveling to Ireland this summer and Rocket fans have the opportunity to make the trip. The trip will be from July 31-August 8 and include golf at the Old Head Golf Links, Ballybunion Golf Club, Waterville and Tralee Golf Club.

     "I am so excited to be able to offer our fans the opportunity to travel with the Rockets and play golf with us in Ireland this summer," Head Coach Nicole Hollingsworth said. "There are not many seats available and they will fill up.  We have never taken an overseas trip so this is very exciting for us.  We will also be playing the Irish national team and that will be a great experience for us."

     Special sightseeing opportunities will include a trip to the Blarney Castle, shopping at Blarney Woolen Mills, the Tour Gap of Dunloe (via a jaunting car and traditional style boat), the Ring of Kerry (via a driving tour) and a boat cruise to Skillig Michael Island, UNESCO World Heritage Site.

     The total cost (not including airfare) is $4,769 per person with double occupancy and $5,539 per person with single occupancy. If interested in going on the trip without playing golf, the cost is $2,999.
