TOLEDO, OH – Senior swimmers
Lauren Comer (Upper Arlington, OH) and
Samantha Richart (Saline, MI) Â earned second-team All-Mid-American Conference honors following this weekend's conference championships. Toledo finished seventh at the MAC Championships with 263 points.

Comer and Richart accounted for 62 points out of the Rockets' 135 individual-event points.

This past weekend, Comer finished third in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 4:53.16. She recorded a personal-best time of 4:50.64 in the 500 free at the Miami Invitational in December.

The senior Rocket recorded an eighth-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle with a season-best time of 1:50.22. She had previously recorded 1:50.47 at the Miami Invite.

Comer placed 12
th in the 200-yard backstroke consolidation finals with a time of 2:01.84. Her personal-best time of 2:00.65 was recorded at the Miami Invite.

Comer was also part of the 400 and 800-yard freestyle relay teams at the MAC championships. Toledo finished the 800 free relay in fifth place with a time of 7:20.88, and it recorded a 3:26.52 seventh-place finish in the 400 free relay.

Richart touched second in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:00.54. She recorded a meet-record and personal-best of 59.88 in the preliminary round of the event. Richart outswam her previous personal-best time of 1:00.61, which she recorded at the Miami Invite. The senior Rocket recorded a first-place 100-breast finish in eight out of nine meets this season.

Richart placed sixth in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time a personal-best time of 2:15.56, two seconds faster than her 2:17.40 finish at the Miami Invite.

Richart was also part of the 200 and 400-yard medley relay teams. Toledo finished in fifth-place in the 200 medley with a time of 1:41.16 and it placed sixth in the 400 medley with a time of 2:15.56.
