TOLEDO, OH – The Toledo women's tennis team defeated Detroit, 5-2, on Sunday afternoon. The Rockets improve to 4-5 on the season, while Detroit falls to 1-4.
The Rockets quickly notched the doubles point, winning the first two doubles matches.
Claire Aleck and
Lauren Thai were ahead, 5-3, at the No. 3 slot before it went unfinished.
Toledo won four of six singles matches to claim the victory over Detroit.

Rani Goodland each won in two sets, while
Colleen O'Brien defeated Irina Slizovskaya in the only three-set battle of the day.
The Rockets travel to Palm Springs, CA over spring break to play UC Riverside, Gonzaga and Liberty before returning home to face Butler in Indianapolis.
