TOLEDO, OH - The Toledo men's and women's basketball programs will hold a special Teddy Bear Toss sponsored by Kistler Ford during this weekend's respective home games, the UT Athletic Marketing Office announced on Friday.

The UT men's team hosts Southeastern Louisiana on Saturday, Dec. 17 at 7:00 p.m. in Savage Arena, while the women's squad entertains No. 2 Notre Dame on Sunday, Dec. 18 at 2:00 p.m.

The toss will be held at halftime of both contests with each Teddy Bear thrown onto the court being donated to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northwest Ohio and Toledo Hospital. Fans are encouraged to bring a bear to the game.

In addition to the bear toss, there will be a Holiday Bleacher Special for the men's non-league match-up against the Lions, with $7.00 bleacher seats purchased prior to game day and $11.00 on game day.

Santa Claus will also be in attendance at tomorrow's men's game on the West Concourse.

On the women's side, tickets for Sunday's contest against the nationally ranked Fighting Irish will be $16.00 prior to game day and $18.00 on game day. Notre Dame will be the highest ranked opponent to ever visit Savage Arena. The previous highest-ranked team was No. 5 Duke, whom Toledo defeated, 71-65, on Nov. 18, 2001.
